Rear Brake Inspection

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

Pedal Height

The top of the pedal should sit 54 mm (2.1 in) below the top of the footrest.

Loosen the pedal height adjuster lock nut with a 12 mm wrench. Turn the pedal height adjuster with a 10 mm wrench. When the pedal reaches the desired height securely tighten the locknut. Adjust the rear brake light switch.

Rear Brake Light Switch

Adjust the rear brake switch so that the rear brake light will come on just as the brake lever is pressed.
